I can see the sky, the fields from a red tent

Blue splatter painting.

I had the most amazing experience today.
A dearheart I know was having visions, about people,
and when I logged in this morning I found a post of her vision for me...
It blew me around, turned me upside down, and was immediately my Page for the Day ~
each morning I have a post, an email, a message that I print out, sit on my desk, and think about for the rest of the day...

"Leonie didn't ask, but I have a strong one for her, so I'm going to share...
Leonie is a marvelous story told long ago and held in the depths of a book unopened for years and years. By chance the book was opened and her spirt doused in light - she was reborn to deliver this age old story - now blanketed in prismatic light - to a new world."

And I'd like to share with you my response.

"oh my dear lord...
magcindy you are exceptionally gifted
I thank you.

i will tell you something rather extraordinary... i understand your vision, and it has more layers than one.
one of these layers is the visible one, the happenstance that physically manifested on this planet.

you see... i was told by an amazing woman to read "The Red Tent" by Anita Diamant, by way of introduction into the spiritual women's group I have recently joined.
And I got it out from the library, and I've had it out for over a month now, and yet I just couldn't begin it.

Last night, my partner and I decided to go to bed early, and do some reading. He had made some relaxation CDs up for bedtime reading, and put one on. And I realised it was time to begin The Red Tent.
And as soon as I opened it, I was swept away.

The Red Tent is the story of Dinah, Joseph's (as in Joseph and his Technicolour Dreamcoat) sister. It is the story of women whose stories have been forgotten, but are necessary for this world.
I couldn't put the book down. It was like the opening of a treasure that had been waiting for years for me to open it.
And I am changed by it.

It is awakening my innards, and making me see a whole new world both within myself, and within others.

"By chance the book was opened"... "a marvelous story told long ago and held in the depths of a book unopened for years and years."

And I feel like I am reconnecting with something deep inside, deep outside. I feel like I am remembering the blood that ties us women together.

I am truly grateful for your reading MagCindy.
Love and laughter, Leonie
