I know you by heart

Dearest, loveliest Lisa Marie emailed me,
after reading my post about connecting with Clinty.
She said as she read it, she heard in her head
"I know you by heart" by Eva Cassidy playing.
She shared it with me, and now I share it with you...
It just speaks so much to me.

I know you by heart…
Eva Cassidy

Midnights in Winter

The glowing fire
Lights up your face in orange and gold.
I see your sweet smile
Shine through the darkness
It's line is etched in my memory.

So I'd know you by heart.

Mornings in April
Sharing our secrets
We'd walk until the morning was gone.
We were like children
Laughing for hours
The joy you gave me lives on and on.

‘Cause I know you by heart.

I still hear your voice
On warm Summer nights
Whispering like the wind.

(Oh oh ohh…)

You left in Autumn
The leaves were turning
I walked down roads of orange and gold.
I saw your sweet smile
I heard your laughter
You're still here beside me every day.

‘Cause I know you by heart,
‘Cause I know you by heart.

I know you by heart Clinty,
and will recognise those blue blue eyes and great grin anywhere.

Girl, you still got me cryin!!!
I must have lost a brother in a past life... or maybe it's my remaining grief over losing my beloved grandmother... at any rate, your strength and love in the middle of what could be such a grief-stricken time, even all these years later, is inspiring.
Do you have that Eva Cassidy CD? Do you want me to make you one?

Lisa Marie, you are the most precious blossom.
I do so love you!

You know something funny?
The other day, I was telling someone about the clairvoyant, and how my brother had passed away, and she kept saying to me ~ oh how awful that your brother died. how awful for you.
and all i could do was say... No, it wasn't awful. I am so blessed to have had him in my life, and grateful also in the lesson of living life each day as much as you can. Life is short, and the people in it are precious.
And thank you sweetie, I already have the CD.
Love you, and thank you
for everything.
