Connor Beauty

Dear my little friend,

May you always remember your beauty as you grow into a man, and into yourself.
May you remember the magician in you, who holds crystals in his fingers, memories of his spirit brother in his mind, and a fierce intent to heal and know others in the curl of his palm.
May you remember the fairy in you, who wears wings on his tricycle, who dances under rainbow umbrellas, who makes the world a song and dance.
May you remember the joy you create with your golden eyes and hilariously insightful one-liners and cherub lips.
May you know just how deeply you are loved from all who are around you.
It is an honour to know you, to dance with you, to watch you take in the world with your sensitive, sweet soul.
Thank you for teaching us.

Love,
your friend,
Leonie

Fire the Grid

winged woman, pastels on paper

At 9:11pm Australian EST
there is a worldwide meditation called Fire the Grid
for us all to vision healing and oneness for humanity and our beautiful Mama Earth.

Connect in with the grid ~
even if you miss the time,
do it anyway with the intention of connecting in with the grid of light.

See in your mind's eye and feel in your heart
streaming ribbons of light from every star in the sky
reaching down to touch us, heal us, and embrace the earth.
Imagine inhaling this light,
taking it into your heart,
and offering it a home there.

Imagine a world of hope, peace, beauty and miracles.
Imagine a planet of community, of people connecting deeply with themselves, each other, our animals and plants, our beautiful Earth home.

Imagine a world of possibility,
of radiant dreams come true.

Imagine opening your eyes and seeing the world
as though you have just arrived.

Imagine knowing who you are.
Imagine remembering you are Great Spirit.

I will meet you in the ethers,
dancing in the light.
I believe in you.

Take a moment to imagine the possible.

Remember your beauty,
Leonie

poem #1

Last night I crept outside

into the darkness of the backyard
and lay still for a while.

Breathing just breathing.

I whisper into the soul of the earth,
and I listen, and I hear,
and we commune together so insistently, consistently, assuredly,
that I began laughing, and the soul of the earth laughs with me.

They show me what forgiveness looks like:
two hands releasing a white dove.
I bet if you just clutched and grasped and held that white dove
it would shit all over you, and peck and scratch.
Better to let it go, I think.
White doves were born to fly.
So are hearts, and forgiveness.

Last night I fall asleep in moonbeams,
and I slumber like a fairy,
only waking to mumble:
I must remember this.
I must remember this.

In the dreaming land,
I see my father, and he is smiling and laughing and young.
For the first time I really see him,
and it is a beautiful thing indeed.

making sense

I want to write for the sake of writing.
I want to write for the sheer abandon of it, the falling into the moment, the sinking into myself of it. I want to fall apart and rupture clean and pin it, piece by piece, together with words. I want to remember why I write.

I remember why I write:
Because, simply, the world makes sense to me when I write.

There are some things that I know.
I know that it feels good to meditate, and sometimes when I sit in gentle breath upon my bed, I am called outside with an urgency. I pull on a jumper and sweatpants, then barefoot onto the grass to be closer to the heartbeat of mother earth. It feels like she wraps around me, and I ground in her energy.
No matter what.
It is all okay, it is all okay, it is all okay.
This is what she teaches me.

These are the days that sparkle with a new and precious Succulent Wild Woman watch from a dear friend. I enter rooms hand first, as proud as a five year old with a ballerina box that spins and sings once the lid is opened.
These are the days that I'm not sure where I'm going, or exactly what is happening, just that I know that it is good and ripe even in the chaos. Even in the pain, there is still peace. Even in the tears, there are lessons.
There is no compass available but my soul, and my soul tells me I am doing good. I may not know much about today, and I may not know much about tomorrow, but I do know change is birthing forth into our lives. I do know I will be okay no matter what. I do know I can do this I can be this I can create this dream life.

Inside me is where the world is created.

Today
Immensely inspired by the glorious Jen Lemen today.
Watch this horse clip without crying... and you're probably a lot less hormonal
than me at the moment!
With two hands, I offer you a Secret.
