Everyday Angels

I had the most eye opening conversation

My dear friend at work, the purple headed goddess
came to my desk for a SARK card

And she told me about a new age workshop she went to a couple of years back

and the speaker asked

If god came to earth, where would he hide so no one would find him?

In a person's body.

Why?

Because no one thinks to look there.

We never take the time to look in another's eyes and see the *angel* in there. It only takes a couple of minutes of looking to see it.

We are all each other's angels.

And with that, she looked at me, and I looked at her.
And we looked into each other.

As simple as that.
And it was beautiful.
SHE is beautiful.
The interaction was beautiful.
I am entirely grateful for her lovely purple haired presence in my life.

The angels are made from Post-it notes, I made them for the purple haired goddess and my succulent supervisor. Both are angels in my life. The beaded angel is a gift from my succulent supervisor.

Spectacles

Yesterday I had
a weight lift off my shoulders
I went to a new optometrist
My eyesight has gotten progressively worse since I was 11
I worried that I would be blind when I got old
My new optometrist wants to correct my vision
He was patient and understanding and listened
He is taking me off graduated bifocals and giving me single vision lenses...

~

I am getting new glasses
Rimless with flexible purple wire
Like not having glasses
A weight off my face
Free

1 more week... will post piccy of new ones when I get

The first thing I thought of when I awoke this morning was that
soon I would see properly again
and
soon others would see me properly
without the big blue frames

Vision is such a ~wonderful~ thing.

I am grateful for it everyday.

My Week... Looking in, looking out...

I have had such a big *growing* week...

Everyday feels like a growing adventure ~ a journey.

Today I did not feel sociable, I wished just to be quiet and let the lessons soak up inside of me.

I pruned the roses and watered the garden today and took some self portraits.

Just letting the peace sleep inside of me, reflecting in, reflecting out
